Jesse Meets A Fox
“Um… are you sure that ah’m qualified for this job, boss?” Jesse asked as he looked up at his owner with a mix of confusion and worry. “I don’t know if chickens are really mah specialty…” Jack stared down at Jesse with exasperation as he proceeded to rub his temples. He wasn’t sure what Jesse was so worried about, given the relative ease of this latest assignment. “Look, you kept getting all jittery when I sent you to watch Noelle, Jacqueline and the sheep. So I’ll have to have you guard over something else.” He got down on one knee and gave the concerned beagle a look of sympathy. “Don’t worry so much, all right? Trust me, no one ever even tries to steal our chickens. This should be an easy one for ya.” Jesse looked up at his owner and slowly began to smile. “Well… ok then Jack. Ah’ll try my best, and ah promise I won’t let you down.” As his master stood up and walked off with a smile, Jesse turned around and looked at all of the chickens as they wandered around in place. “Ya know
